THE CHRISTMAS DAIRY SHOW WAS JUDGED BY ALAN MACE & GORDON RICHARDSON OF ESH, DURHAM. THEY CHOSE A HOLSTEIN HEIFER FROM JACK SWALES OF HUTTON RUDBY AS THEIR CHAMPION WHICH WENT ON TO SELL FOR £2450 TO MELVIN PEACOCK OF RAND GRANGE, BEDALE.

Carol Service: A repeat of last year’s successful Carol Service on behalf of RABI
will be held at the Mart on Tuesday evening 13th December.
All welcome at 7.00pm. Mulled wine & mince pies after the service.
Every Wednesday 6 Day Rule: -
20/30 Prime Cattle & Cast Cows at 10.00am followed at
approximately 10.30am by 800 Prime Lambs & Cast Sheep.
Prime Lamb ballot includes pens 6 – 39.
Cast Cows: It would be helpful if cows could be entered pre sale.

These calves when sold, if moving to a low risk area (i.e Four Yearly Testing), do not need to be post movement tested and do not affect the TB status of the new owner.
