Friday 3rd April
Weekly Sale of 100/150 Rearing Calves & Stirks at 11.00am
Due to current regulations the forthcoming sales of Dairy Cattle and Ewes with Lambs have been cancelled. We will arrange Farm to Farm sales if required
Naturally we are taking every possible precaution to ensure the safety of our customers and staff and offer the following guidance:-
We would prefer, as far as possible, if only Vendors, Purchasers and Hauliers carrying out business enter the mart premises and therefore, please, NO Visitors or Children. We would also request that all persons attending sales, regularly use the hand washing and hand sanitising facilities provided. In particular everyone should wash or sanitise their hands before entering the canteen or office. We have followed and adhered to all Government and Medical Advice and under those guidelines there is no reason for us to cancel or postpone sales at this time but please be aware that arrangements may change at short notice.
IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS
We would ask people, who have experienced any symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath, or a dry cough not to attend any sales. This also applies to anyone who has visited a high risk area abroad in the past 14 days or has come into contact with a positive Coronavirus (Covid-19) case.
Should you wish to sell your livestock but not be present at the mart please contact the Office.

All cattle, including calves, displayed as being from a TB 1 area and being over 42 days old will have been pre-tested before movement.
These calves when sold, if moving to a low risk area (i.e Four Yearly Testing), do not need to be post movement tested and do not affect the TB status of the new owner.
